Each cushion cover is cut from the full width of the fabric, ensuring that every piece is one of a kind. The Kurre pattern, inspired by Aino-Maija Metsola’s forest stories, depicts a lively scene of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts, recalling the playful sights of the designer’s childhood garden. The original design was hand-painted on paper using brush and ink, bringing a charming, artisanal quality to the print.
